Love . Peace . Unity
Our history:
The Uganda Association of Québec (UAQ) was established with a shared vision of bringing together Ugandans living in Québec to build a strong, united, and supportive community. Recognizing the need for a common platform where Ugandans could connect, preserve their cultural heritage, and support one another, a group of dedicated community leaders and volunteers came together to lay the foundation for the association.
Since its inception, UAQ has grown into a respected community organization that serves Ugandans and friends of Uganda across Québec. Through collaboration, volunteerism, and a spirit of togetherness, the association has organized cultural celebrations, sports activities, family gatherings, educational workshops, community outreach programs, and networking events that strengthen relationships and promote integration into Canadian society.
Over the years, UAQ has continued to build partnerships with local organizations, government institutions, and multicultural communities while remaining committed to preserving Uganda's rich traditions and values. The association has become a trusted voice for the Ugandan community, promoting inclusion, leadership, and opportunities for members of all ages.
Today, the Uganda Association of Québec continues to grow under the guiding principles of Love, Peace, and Unity.
