Cultural celebrations

Join us for Uganda Independence Day celebrations, cultural festivals, heritage events, traditional music, dance, storytelling, and food festivals showcasing Ugandan cuisine. These gatherings foster family and community cultural connections.

Educational programs

We offer diverse educational programs for all ages, including youth and family initiatives, sports and recreation, and various community support services.

Networking and partnerships

The UAQ facilitates networking opportunities and builds partnerships within the community, fostering strong relationships and collaborative projects. We also host fundraising and special events.

The Uganda Association of Quebec (UAQ) is committed to serving the diverse needs of the Ugandan community in Quebec. Our programs are designed to be inclusive and accessible, welcoming people of all ages, backgrounds, and stages of life.

While our primary focus is the Ugandan community, many of our cultural events and community initiatives are also open to friends of Uganda, community partners, and members of the wider Quebec community. How to participate

The Uganda Association of Quebec (UAQ) welcomes all Ugandans living in Quebec, their families, and friends of the community to participate in our programs and activities. We believe that everyone has something valuable to contribute, and we encourage members to get involved in ways that match their interests and availability.
