Dear Members, Friends, and Supporters,

It is my great honour to welcome you to the Uganda Association of Quebec (UAQ).

The vision behind UAQ was born from a simple but powerful belief—that when Ugandans come together with a shared purpose, we can build a stronger, more supportive, and more vibrant community for everyone. No matter where we come from in Uganda or where we are in our journey, we are united by our heritage, our values, and our commitment to helping one another succeed.

Our mission is to create a welcoming home for Ugandans living in Quebec by promoting unity, preserving our rich cultural heritage, supporting newcomers, empowering youth and families, and fostering meaningful partnerships within the wider Canadian community.

UAQ is more than an organization—it is a family. It is a place where friendships are built, cultures are celebrated, ideas are shared, and opportunities are created. Through volunteerism, leadership, and community service, we strive to make a positive and lasting difference in the lives of our members and future generations.

I invite you to become an active part of this journey. Whether you are a member, volunteer, partner, sponsor, or friend of our community, your involvement is essential to our continued growth and success. Together, we can build an association that reflects the very best of Uganda's values: unity, respect, integrity, compassion, and service.

Thank you for believing in our vision and for helping us build a united and thriving Ugandan community in Quebec.

Together, we are stronger. Together, we build our future.

With sincere appreciation,

The Founder
Uganda Association of Quebec (UAQ)

Dear Members, Friends, and Supporters,

It is a privilege to welcome you to the Uganda Association of Quebec (UAQ).

As a Co-Founder, I am proud to be part of a vision that brings Ugandans together to build a stronger, more connected, and more supportive community in Quebec. UAQ was founded on the belief that by working together, we can preserve our cultural heritage, support one another, and create opportunities that benefit both current and future generations.

Our Association is built on the values of unity, respect, integrity, inclusion, volunteerism, and service. These values guide everything we do—from supporting newcomers and empowering youth to organizing cultural celebrations, community programs, and partnerships that strengthen our community.

Every member has something valuable to contribute. Whether through volunteering, sharing professional skills, participating in events, or supporting our initiatives, your involvement helps make our Association stronger and more impactful.

I encourage you to take an active role in the life of UAQ. Together, we can continue to build an organization that inspires pride, promotes cultural understanding, and creates meaningful opportunities for all Ugandans living in Quebec.

Thank you for your trust, your commitment, and your continued support. I look forward to working alongside you as we build a united, thriving, and resilient Ugandan community.

Together, we preserve our heritage, strengthen our community, and shape a brighter future.

With appreciation,

Co-Founder

Dear Members, Friends, and Supporters,

It is with great pride and gratitude that I welcome you to the Uganda Association of Quebec (UAQ).

Serving as a Co-Founder of UAQ is both an honour and a responsibility. Together with my fellow founders, we envisioned an organization that would unite Ugandans across Quebec, preserve our rich cultural heritage, and create a strong support system for individuals and families as they build their lives in Canada.

Our community is strengthened by the diversity of its people, the spirit of volunteerism, and our shared commitment to helping one another succeed. Every event we organize, every program we deliver, and every partnership we build reflects our dedication to creating opportunities that empower our members and foster a true sense of belonging.

I believe that the future of our Association depends on the active participation of every member. Whether you contribute your ideas, volunteer your time, share your professional skills, mentor others, or simply attend our events, your involvement makes a meaningful difference.

As we continue to grow, let us remain united in purpose, respectful of one another, and committed to serving our community with integrity and compassion. Together, we can build an organization that not only celebrates Uganda's rich heritage but also inspires future generations to lead, serve, and make a positive impact in Quebec and beyond.

Thank you for being part of this journey. I invite you to join us in strengthening our community and shaping a brighter future for all.

Together in Unity, Service, and Progress.

With sincere appreciation,
